Rosewood Forgecleaver™ Damascus Cleaver Knife
The Rosewood Forgecleaver™ is a handmade Damascus cleaver knife combining a substantial 6-inch blade with a stabilized rosewood handle for kitchen prep, meat cutting, outdoor cooking, and general food preparation.
The blade is forged from 240 layers of 5160 and 4340 carbon steel Damascus, creating a distinctive layered steel pattern across the broad cleaver blade. At 3/16 inch thick, the blade has a substantial profile suited to the traditional cleaver design.
A Damascus steel bolster transitions into a stabilized rosewood handle with a fiber liner, giving the cleaver a classic handcrafted appearance.
Measuring 10.5 inches overall, the Rosewood Forgecleaver™ combines a 6-inch blade with a compact handle for a balanced kitchen-cleaver profile.
A vegetable-tanned leather sheath is included for protecting the blade during storage and transport.

Damascus Cleaver Design

Damascus Steel Care
Carbon steel Damascus requires regular care. Clean the blade after use and dry it completely before storage.
Periodically apply a thin coating of food-safe mineral oil or another appropriate blade-care product to help protect the carbon steel against moisture and corrosion.
Do not leave the cleaver soaking in water, and avoid putting it in a dishwasher.
For long-term storage, make sure both the blade and leather sheath are completely dry.
Natural rosewood can vary in grain and coloration, giving individual handles their own appearance.
