Stagspike Frontier™ – Hand-Forged O1 Steel Spike Hawk
The Stagspike Frontier™ is a distinctive hand-forged spike hawk combining thick O1 high-carbon tool steel with natural crown stag, horsehide, and traditional multi-material handle accents.
The hawk is forged from substantial 3/8-inch-thick O1 high-carbon tool steel and features a 3-inch cutting bit opposite a pronounced steel spike. The head measures approximately 6 5/8 inches from the cutting bit to the tip of the spike, giving the piece its unmistakable tomahawk profile.
A blued steel guard is soldered into position above a layered combination of black fiber, maroon, horsehide, copper, and aluminum spacers. The handle is finished with a premium crown stag butt, secured with an aluminum pin.
At approximately 12 inches overall, the Stagspike Frontier™ combines traditional tomahawk styling with natural materials and handcrafted details.
A fitted custom leather sheath is included for protecting the head during storage and transport.

Care & Maintenance
O1 is a high-carbon tool steel and should be kept clean and dry to help prevent oxidation. After handling or use, wipe the steel thoroughly and apply a light coat of suitable blade oil or protective wax.
Do not leave the spike hawk exposed to prolonged moisture or store it while wet.
Natural crown stag and horsehide should be protected from excessive moisture, heat, and harsh chemicals.
For extended storage, keep the hawk in a dry environment and avoid leaving the steel in a damp leather sheath.
Because natural materials and handmade construction are used, variations in stag texture, coloration, spacer appearance, and forged steel finish are normal.
