Ramcrest Blackforge™ Damascus Hunting Knife

The Ramcrest Blackforge™ Damascus Hunting Knife combines a 240-layer Damascus steel blade with the contrasting textures of natural ram’s horn and black burlap Micarta.

Measuring 8.5 inches overall, this fixed blade features a 4-inch Damascus blade with a substantial 5/32-inch thickness. Its compact proportions make it well suited to hunting, camping, outdoor use, and fixed-blade collections.

The handle combines natural ram’s horn with black burlap Micarta, creating a distinctive mix of natural and modern materials. A matching black burlap Micarta bolster completes the handle design.

A vegetable-tanned leather sheath with dual-carry belt loops is included, allowing both vertical and horizontal belt carry.

240-Layer Damascus Blade

The 4-inch blade is forged from 240 layers of 5160 and 4340 carbon steel, producing the distinctive layered pattern associated with Damascus steel.

Its 5/32-inch thickness gives the compact blade a substantial profile while maintaining a manageable 8.5-inch overall size.

Ram Horn & Black Burlap Micarta

The handle brings together natural ram’s horn and black burlap Micarta, creating a strong visual contrast between organic horn texture and dark Micarta.

A black burlap Micarta bolster continues the dark accent at the front of the handle.

Because genuine ram horn is a natural material, variations in color, texture, and ridge pattern should be expected between individual knives.

Dual-Carry Leather Sheath

A vegetable-tanned leather sheath is included with dual-carry belt loops.

The sheath can be configured for either vertical or horizontal belt carry, providing more flexibility than a standard single-position sheath.

Damascus Steel Care

The 5160/4340 Damascus blade is made from carbon steels and should be kept clean and completely dry after use.

Apply a light coating of suitable blade oil periodically to help protect against moisture and surface corrosion. Avoid prolonged exposure to humidity and never store the knife wet inside its leather sheath.
