Leatherstack Guthorn™ Damascus Gut Hook Skinning Knife
The Leatherstack Guthorn™ Damascus Gut Hook Skinning Knife combines a broad Damascus blade, integrated gut hook, and traditional stacked leather handle for hunting, skinning, and field-dressing applications.
Its 5-inch blade is forged from 240 layers of 5160 and 4340 carbon steel Damascus, producing the distinctive layered pattern associated with forged Damascus steel.
At 9.5 inches overall, the knife provides a substantial fixed-blade profile while the 4.5-inch stacked leather handle offers a traditional hunting-knife appearance.
A Damascus steel guard and pommel complement the patterned blade, creating a consistent handcrafted look from blade to handle.
The knife includes a vegetable-tanned leather sheath with dual carry loops for convenient field carry and storage.

This combination makes the Leatherstack Guthorn™ a purpose-focused hunting knife rather than a general-purpose fixed blade.
Stacked Leather Handle
The stacked leather handle gives this knife a classic hunting-knife appearance and distinguishes it from conventional wood, bone, Micarta, or antler handles.
Damascus steel is also used for both the guard and pommel, complementing the patterned blade and framing the stacked leather handle.
Dual-Carry Leather Sheath
A vegetable-tanned leather sheath is included with the knife.
The dual carry loops provide multiple belt-carry options, making the knife easier to position according to your preferred field setup.
Damascus Steel Care
5160/4340 carbon steel Damascus requires proper care to help prevent corrosion.
Clean the blade after use and dry it thoroughly. Periodically apply a thin coating of suitable blade oil or protective wax, especially before long-term storage.
Avoid prolonged contact with water or moisture. Make sure both the knife and leather sheath are completely dry before storage.
