Damascus Steel Care
1095 and 15N20 Damascus steel requires proper care to help prevent corrosion.
Clean and completely dry the blade after use. Periodically apply a thin coating of suitable blade oil or protective wax, particularly before extended storage.
Avoid prolonged exposure to water and humid conditions. If the knife is stored with leather accessories, make sure both the knife and leather are completely dry.
Natural wood and handmade Damascus patterns may vary slightly between individual knives.
