Bonewood Norsecrest™ Viking Seax Knife
The Bonewood Norsecrest™ Viking Seax Knife combines a compact Viking-inspired profile with a patterned Damascus steel blade, layered wood-and-bone handle, brass fittings, and a traditional leather sheath.
Its approximately 4.3-inch blade is crafted from 256-layer Damascus steel and comes with a sharpened edge. The layered steel pattern complements the natural materials used throughout the handle.
Measuring approximately 8.9 inches overall, the Bonewood Norsecrest™ offers a compact alternative to larger Viking long seax designs while retaining the traditional character of a historical-style Norse knife.
The handle is constructed from alternating sections of wood and animal bone, separated by thin darker spacers. A brass collar and brass butt complete the handle and provide an attractive contrast against the natural materials.
A tanned leather sheath with ornate brass fittings and a carrying ring is included for convenient belt carry.

Compact Viking Seax Design
At approximately 8.9 inches overall, the Bonewood Norsecrest™ provides the distinctive character of a Viking Seax in a more compact format.
Its approximately 4.3-inch blade makes it noticeably smaller than the long Seax designs while retaining a traditional Viking-inspired appearance.
256-Layer Damascus Blade
The blade is made from 256-layer Damascus steel and supplied with a sharpened edge.
The layered construction creates a distinctive patterned surface that pairs naturally with the traditional wood, bone, brass, and leather materials used throughout the knife.
Layered Wood & Bone Handle
The handle is one of the defining features of the Bonewood Norsecrest™.
Alternating sections of natural wood and animal bone are separated by thin darker spacers, creating a layered appearance along the grip.
A brass collar and matching brass butt frame the handle and complement the fittings used on the sheath.
Because genuine wood and bone are natural materials, variations in grain, tone, coloration, and surface pattern can occur between individual pieces.
Leather & Brass Sheath
A tanned leather sheath is included with ornate brass fittings and a carrying ring.
The brass details coordinate with the handle fittings while giving the complete piece a traditional historical appearance.
Damascus Steel Care
The Damascus steel used for this blade is not stainless, so regular maintenance is important.
Keep the blade clean and completely dry after handling or use. Periodically apply a thin coating of suitable blade oil to help protect against surface corrosion and tarnishing.
Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture and never store the blade wet inside its leather sheath.
