Blueguard Stockman™ Damascus Castration Knife
The Blueguard Stockman™ Castration Knife is a compact handmade fixed-blade knife combining patterned Damascus steel, a distinctive blue-dyed cattle bone handle, and an integrated finger guard for ranch, farm, and livestock utility.
The knife features a 3.5-inch Damascus blade with a 2.5-inch cutting edge. Its blade is forged from 240 layers of 5160 and 4340 carbon steel, producing the distinctive layered pattern associated with Damascus steel.
The handle is crafted from blue-dyed cattle bone with a Micarta fiber liner. An integrated finger guard provides separation between the handle and cutting edge while giving the knife its recognizable ranch-working profile.
At approximately 7.25 inches overall and 4.7 oz (133 g), the Blueguard Stockman™ maintains a compact fixed-blade design suitable for controlled ranch and livestock utility.
A vegetable-tanned leather sheath designed for horizontal carry is included for convenient storage and transport.

Integrated Finger Guard
The integrated finger guard is an important feature of this castration knife, creating additional separation between the handle and cutting edge.
Combined with the compact blade and contoured blue bone handle, it gives the Blueguard Stockman™ a distinctive traditional ranch-knife profile.
Ranch & Livestock Utility
The compact dimensions make this knife well suited to ranch, farm, livestock, and other fixed-blade utility applications where a smaller blade is preferred.
Its blue cattle bone handle also distinguishes it visually from traditional natural-bone and wood-handle castration knives.
Damascus Steel Care
The 5160/4340 carbon steel Damascus blade should be cleaned and completely dried after use.
Apply a thin coating of suitable blade oil periodically to help protect the steel against moisture and corrosion.
Do not soak the knife in water or store it wet inside its leather sheath.
Because cattle bone is a natural material, variations in texture and in the appearance of the blue dye can occur between individual handles.
