Torslunda Raven™ Viking Knife

The Torslunda Raven™ Viking Knife is a compact historical-style fixed blade combining carbon steel with natural wood, animal bone, brass fittings, and distinctive Norse-inspired handle decoration.

Its approximately 2.6-inch carbon steel blade creates a compact profile suited to Viking collections, historical displays, and traditional-style utility. The edge comes slightly sharpened.

Measuring approximately 6.5 inches overall, the Torslunda Raven™ is considerably smaller than a traditional Viking Seax, making it one of the more compact Norse-inspired knives in the Arham Cutlery collection.

The handle combines natural wood, animal bone, and brass. Its central bone section is decorated on both sides with motifs inspired by the famous Torslunda archaeological finds from Öland, Sweden.

A brass collar and brass butt cap frame the handle, while an eyelet in the butt cap provides an attachment point for a lanyard.

The knife includes a tanned leather sheath with ornate brass fittings and a suspension ring for traditional-style belt carry.

Torslunda-Inspired Bone Handle

The defining feature of the Torslunda Raven™ is its decorated animal-bone handle section.

Both sides feature motifs inspired by a bronze stamping die discovered at Torslunda on Öland, Sweden, giving the knife a distinctive Scandinavian historical character.

The bone section is combined with natural wood and framed by brass fittings for a contrasting traditional appearance.

Compact Carbon Steel Blade

The approximately 2.6-inch blade is made from carbon steel and supplied with a slightly sharpened edge.

At approximately 6.5 inches overall, the knife has a compact fixed-blade format that distinguishes it from the larger Viking Seax designs in the collection.

Wood, Bone & Brass Construction

Natural wood and animal bone form the main handle materials, while a brass collar and brass butt cap add contrasting details.

The butt cap also incorporates an eyelet that can be used to attach a lanyard.

Because wood and bone are natural materials and the knife is handcrafted, variations in coloration, grain, and decorative details should be expected.

Leather & Brass Sheath

A tanned leather sheath is included with ornate brass fittings.

The integrated suspension ring provides a traditional-style attachment point for belt carry while coordinating with the brass details used throughout the handle.

Carbon Steel Care

Carbon steel is not stainless and requires regular maintenance.

Keep the blade clean and completely dry after handling or use. Periodically apply a thin coating of suitable blade oil to help protect the steel against moisture, surface tarnishing, and corrosion.

Never store the knife wet inside its leather sheath.
